Townmarket.ie is about bringing people and markets together in Ireland, allowing people of all different areas such as arts and crafts, baking and food production, clothing design, wood crafts, painting, jewellery design, ceramics and many many more to share their products, designs and ideas with one another and to the people of Ireland.

Do I have to be part of a market to upload what I make?
No, you can create a profile and upload as many products as you like, as townmarket.ie is designed for all users from home based designers to market stall owners.

How much does it cost to sign up to townmarket.ie?
Signing up and creating a profile on townmarket.ie is FREE. Once signed up, you can add your creations and products for a small fee of 3 euro per product for one year's advertisement on townmarket.ie.

Can I use the site if I'm living outside of Ireland?
Only people who are living in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland can currently use the site.

What rights does townmarket.ie have over your content?
Townmarket does not have any rights to the product that you upload to it.

Who can use this site?
The site is open to all and not restricted to a certain group. If you are a designer, creative or have a hobby and want to upload it to the site, then you came to the right place.

How can I add a product to the site?
Adding a product to townmarket.ie is simple. You just need to (sign up), which only takes a few minutes. Once signed in, just use the Add a Product option, which gives you three steps, add product info, add product images, review product and pay. That's it.

How can I find the correct address so it appears correctly on the map?
If the map is showing the wrong location of your store or market, you can find the exact co-ordinates using Google maps and finding your location. Right click on your location and click on the option to show coordinates. You can place them in the coordinates box once you find them. You can edit them later if you find that it is incorrect.

How do I sign up?
Signing up to townmarket.ie is simple. Just use the Sign Up option on the home page or use the Sign Up option which can be found in the top right hand corner of the page. It only takes a few minutes. Once signed up, you can edit your profile and add products.

What is a profile?
On townmarket.ie a profile allows you showcase who you are, what you do and to display your products that you have uploaded so that users of the site can click and view them and find out what you provide easily and quickly. A profile allows you to build a presences on the site, while allows other users who have signed up to the site can ask you questions or leave comments.

How many products can I have on townmarket.ie?
You can upload as many products as you want. You can add them to different categories, and they will all show under your profile, just like a store.

Can I setup a market on the site?
Yes, you can setup a market on the site, and allow others on the site to join your market. The market can be a real market that takes place in a location each week, or it can be a virtual market, that allows users to join your market possibly having the similar type of store, e.g. collection of artists showcasing their work.

Can I be part of multiple markets?
At present you can only be part of one market, but work is in place to be part of 1 real market and as many virtual markets.

How do I check how many people have viewed my profile and products?
You can log into the admin section with your username and password and click on the Statistics option on the screen. It will show you the profile views and the product views that you have on the site.

Can I remove comments that I find inappropriate or offensive?
Yes, on the profile page where you find the comment, when you are logged into the site, you can delete a comment if you find that it is not appropriate or offensive to you or others.
